Like any good webmaster, you have to try and use different services every now and again, just to see what works and what doesn’t.

There are various online companies available that will submit your new (or old) websites to the search engines, to get them indexed.  Prices range from free all the way up to hundreds of dollars, and offer assorted levels of service for this charge. 

Now, being on several email lists, I get tons of offers daily for this kind of thing.  Normally, I don’t take any of them up on it, as I have a standard service that I normally use for this purpose.  But I get this one proposal in particular from a (big) RELIABLE newsletter source.  Get your websites submitted to over 68000+ search engines, directories & other websites - a “one-time” blast for just $29.95!  Of course, they also offer a ‘premium’ level where they will do it like 3 or 4 times in a year for $129.95. 

So, after launching this other new site I made, and not having the time to go my regular route, I decide to try it out.  It’s good to try things, right?  Otherwise you won’t know what works & what doesn’t.  Well… what a ripoff this was!  That company sent my website to exactly 30 (yes, THIRTY), search engines.  Last time I checked, 30 wasn’t anywhere near 68,000.  The others were listed as failed submissions or places where this company has the wrong submit page listed for them!  What a joke!  I could have spent 20 minutes doing what they did… and saved 30 bucks!

DON’T use ENTERURL for website submittals!

It’s a blatant ripoff.  I emailed them telling them about this & to date (its been 3 weeks) they have NOT responded.  Got a good mind to dispute the credit card charge!  68,000 listings…. HA HA HA HA! 

DON’T use ENTERURL for ANY services!  If that was any indication of how good their services are, then, well… lol… STAY AWAY!!!

So much for that.  Now, if you want a reliable source for getting your websites submitted, here’s one that I use.  They submit to 34 engines & its free.  (no, its not an affiliate link, just a good source):

My real favorite place though, and its free too, well, sorta, as they require a linkback on your site, but well worth it since they submit to 150 search engines (again, not an affiliate link):

If you’re anything like the average person trying to make a living (or just an additional income) online, then you probably have bought lots of ebooks, programs, or even (gulp) some get rich quick schemes (which no doubt obviously didn’t work - well, for YOU at any rate).

We’re all guilty of it whether we want to admit it or not.  So that’s why I decided to create this site.  Seems many people are unsure or just don’t know how to generate extra income.  Either that, or maybe you are just sick and tired of hearing the experts advice (which is hard to implement, or fails in some way or another).  Lots of guru’s out their trying to sell you on the latest & greatest (yeah, right) programs & doo-dads.

REALITY CHECK is the key ingredient for this site!  No BS, no hype, just the reality of what happens when you do business in the online marketing world.  It’s hard, don’t let anyone kid you.  There’s thousands of people struggling to make a buck in internet marketing.  Are you one of them?  I would assume you are if you are here! 

We aim to try to just lay it out for you, what works, what doesn’t, the stuff we’ve tried (& sometimes failed at) and the kinds of internet marketing that IS making us money.  Whatever it is, we’ll give you the “real world” results, good or bad. 

The Internet Marketing Reality Check website will become a great tool for you to use in your own marketing ventures, since you’ll see what we did, what tools (software, programs, books, etc.) we used & the reality of how much money we are making!  Does anyone else tell you that stuff?  Or do they just tell you they’re making “thousands!!”  (yeah, thats what we thought).
