Ginormous Affiliate & Internet Marketing Dream Software Package

April 1st, 2008

I recently came upon this new website that offers what most Affiliate & Internet Marketers absolutely Crave (besides money): Software & Tools that they can use to effectively do the tasks that are a must when you have an online business.

I must say, with everyone trying to sell you something nowadays, with “supposed” bargain prices (and sometimes not), that the items that are here at this website, in my opinion, truly are a fantastic deal. You may not need everything that this “Ginormous Package Deal” contains, but if you sell via the internet, you’re probably going to need some of these, either now or in the near future.

Heck, for the price that this is being made available for, comparatively to the other products & utilities that are out there on the market, consider it like buying 3 or 4 GREAT tools for full price - and getting 1000 more for FREE! (really).

Along with all the cool software that you get, there’s literally thousands of other knowledge gathering items included (AKA ebooks). Not to mention the PLR articles, templates & graphics, blogging tools, traffic tactics, adsense & clickbank resources, techniques & tricks, and just about anything else that consists of an Internet Marketers Dream! The best part about this, is that once you get these, you can resell everything! They come with either Master Resale Rights, Private Label Rights, or some kind of resale rights so you can make some money with them! Shouldn’t be all that difficult finding (at worst case) half a dozen products that you could make an absolute killing from. Then you can just play around with the rest and probably make a few hundred bucks here and there! Not to mention all the useful schooling you’ll get out of acquiring the package (and then be able to offer it to others - kind of like getting paid to learn)!

To state that you WILL be amazed is putting it mildly. Just the quantity alone that is herein is staggering. And you won’t have to worry about taking a day (or more) off to download all these, as the products are compiled all onto cd’s! Now that’s what I call convenient! Plus it doesn’t hog the space on your hard drive!

Forget all those crazy “giveaways” (that seem to be popping up one a day now) where you spend a week downloading all that material & head over to this site & get most of them in 5 minutes instead!

My final 2 thoughts about this deal:

#1: I Sure wish this had an affiliate option attached to it, because hot stuff like this sells like crazy! I can’t remember the last time a BIG (like REALLY big) software package was offered for a reasonable price… one that I actually wanted to acquire myself. I figure if I’m interested in it, it’s got to be something good, since I’m pretty picky about things and don’t just go out and buy the latest doo-dad.

#2: I’m jealous that I didn’t think of doing something like this myself! :(

Of course, like anything else that’s worth it’s while, there’s a limited number of these package deals available, so I’d say at least go view whats offered & see if its something you can use. As in right NOW, before everyone else scoops them all up… unless you honestly prefer to spend your time endlessly downloading items that are probably just going to sit on your hard drive collecting edust!

Ok, I’m off to grab my own copy if there’s still some left…

use eBay to give your other businesses a hand

March 21st, 2008

Most of the people who make money from eBay don’t actually make all of that money on eBay. There are all sorts of ways you can use eBay to give your existing businesses a helping hand.

The Supply Side.

If you have any leftover stock or used items from another business you run, then why not sell them on eBay? You can make this a regular thing, using it to get rid of things that won’t sell for the premium you ask for in a shop, or items that are no longer in demand in the town or city where your business is based.

You can really make a lot of money this way, if you know what you’re doing. You will, of course, already be an expert in the items you’re selling, as you use them in your business, and you’ll know that the items are of high enough quality to be saleable. This is a whole new market for your old inventory!

Not only that, of course, but remember that your good eBay reputation will make you a great buyer! If there’s ever anything you want to get for your business, the chances are you’ll be able to get it on eBay for a discount.

The Sales Side.

Here, though, is where the true power of eBay lies. eBay give you an About Me page, where you can write anything you like and link anywhere you like. This means that you can get Traffic to your business website by linking to your website from your About Me page and linking to your About Me page from each auction.

To create an About Me page, just click on Community on the toolbar, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Create an About Me page. You then get the option to either enter your own HTML or let eBay guide you through the process. All you need to do is write a little about your website, link to it, and you’re done - you’ll notice that more people start to come to your site straight away.

There are thousands of people who swear by this technique to drive traffic from eBay to their website - with a little persuasive sales copy on your site, they say, you can sell directly to buyers, cutting out the eBay middleman. What’s more, all the traffic you’ll get will be targeted - because the people who click through were interested in your auction to begin with.

This can be a really powerful technique, especially if you’ve already got an ecommerce site. Even if you haven’t, you might find it worth your time to set up a website that does nothing but list your eBay inventory with a few dollars off each item, with a PayPal Buy Now button for each item. Then simply make the link to your About Me page read: Visit my website for even more bargains!, and you are done.

1-2-3 You Wrote an Ebook!

March 12th, 2008

The hardest part of writing is the first sentence.
When you look at the whole project, it seems like an impossible task. That’s why you have to break it down into manageable tasks. Think of climbing a mountain.
You are standing at the foot of it and looking up at its summit vanishing into the clouds. How can you possibly scale such an immense and dangerous mountain?

There is only one way to climb a mountain, step by step.

Now think of writing your ebook in the same light. You must create it step by step, and one day, you will take that last step and find yourself standing on the summit with your head in the clouds.

The first thing you have to do, as if you actually were a mountain climber, is to get organized. Instead of climbing gear, however, you must organize your thoughts. There are some steps you should take before you begin. Once you’ve gone through the following list, you will be ready to actually begin writing your ebook.

Beginning Steps to Writing an ebook

First, figure out your ebook’s working title. Jot down a few different titles, and eventually, you’ll find that one that will grow on you. Titles help you to focus your writing on your topic; they guide you in anticipating and answering your reader’s queries. Many non-fiction books also have subtitles. Aim for clarity in your titles, but cleverness always helps to sell books, as long as it’s not too cute. For example,
Remedies for Insomnia: twenty different ways to count sheep. Or: Get off that couch: fifteen exercise plans to whip you into shape.

Next, write out a thesis statement. Your thesis is a sentence or two stating exactly what problem you are addressing and how your book will solve that problem.
All chapters spring forth from your thesis statement. Once you’ve got your thesis statement fine-tuned, you’ve built your foundation. From that foundation, your book will grow, chapter by chapter.

Your thesis will keep you focused while you write your book. Remember: all chapters must support your thesis statement. If they don’t, they don’t belong in your book. For example, your thesis statement could read:
We’ve all experienced insomnia at times in our lives, but here are twenty proven techniques and methods to give you back a good night’s sleep.

Once you have your thesis, before you start to write, make sure there is a good reason to write your book. Ask yourself some questions:

* Does your book present useful information and is that information currently relevant?

* Will you book positively affect the lives of your readers?

* Is your book dynamic and will it keep the reader’s attention?

* Does you book answer questions that are meaningful and significant?

If you can answer yes to these questions, you can feel confident about the potential of your ebook.

Another important step is to figure out who your target audience is. It is this group of people you will be writing to, and this group will dictate many elements of your book, such as style, tone, diction, and even length. Figure out the age range of your readers, their general gender, what they are most interested in, and even the socio-economic group they primarily come from. Are they people who read fashion magazines or book reviews? Do they write letters in longhand or spend hours every day online. The more you can pin down your target audience, the easier it will be to write your book for them.

Next, make a list of the reasons you are writing your ebook. Do you want to promote your business? Do you want to bring quality traffic to your website? Do you want to enhance your reputation?

Then write down your goals in terms of publishing. Do you want to sell it as a product on your website, or do you want to offer it as a free gift for filling out a survey or for ordering a product? Do you want to use the chapters to create an e-course, or use your ebook to attract affiliates around the world? The more you know upfront, the easier the actual writing will be.

Decide on the format of your chapters. In non-fiction, keep the format from chapter to chapter fairly consistent. Perhaps you plan to use an introduction to your chapter topic, and then divide it into four subhead topics. Or you may plan to divide it into five parts, each one beginning with a relevant anecdote.

How to make your ebook “user friendly”

You must figure out how to keep your writing engaging. Often anecdotes, testimonials, little stories, photos, graphs, advice, and tips will keep the reader turning
the pages. Sidebars are useful for quick, accessible information, and they break up the density of the page.

Write with a casual, conversational tone rather than a formal tone such as textbook diction. Reader’s respond to the feeling that you are having a conversation with
them. Break up the length and structure of your sentences so you don’t hypnotize
your readers into sleep. Sentences that are all the same length and structure tend to be a good aid for insomnia!

Good writing takes practice. It takes lots and lots of practice. Make a schedule to write at least a page a day. Read books and magazines about the process of writing, and jot down tips that jump out at you. The art of writing is a lifetime process; the more you write (and read), the better your writing will become. The better your writing becomes, the bigger your sales figures.

In an ebook that is read on the screen, be aware that you must give your reader’s eye a break. You can do this by utilizing white space. In art classes, white space is usually referred to as “negative space.”
Reader’s eyes need to rest in the cool white oasis you create on your page. If your page is too dense, your reader will quit out of it as soon as their eyes begin to tear.

Make use of lists, both bulleted and numbered. This makes your information easy to absorb, and gives the reader a mental break from dissecting your paragraphs
one after the other.

Finally, decide on an easy-to-read design. Find a font that’s easy on the eyes, and stick to that font family. Using dozens of fonts will only tire your readers out before they’ve gotten past your introduction. Use at least one and a half line spacing, and text large enough to be read easily on the screen, but small enough so that the whole page
can be seen on a computer screen. You will have to experiment with this to find the right combination.

Of course, don’t forget to run a spell and grammar check. You are judged by something as minor as correct punctuation, so don’t mess up a great book by tossing
out semicolons randomly, or stringing sentences together with commas. (By the way, that’s called a “comma splice.”)

Last of all, create an index and a bibliography. That’s it! You’ve written a book! Now all you have to do is publish your ebook online, and wait for the download requests from your website visitors.

What’s an RSS Aggregator?

March 7th, 2008

RSS or Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary is the latest information management tool that is gradually earning popularity among web users and website owners. With RSS technology, it is possible to get the latest postings from your favorite websites. But clicking on the RSS or XML button in a homepage is not enough to give you the service you need. An RSS feed or code displayed in the pop-up screen if not on the main page is composed of symbols and words that would only make sense to advanced RSS users and computer programmers and software enthusiasts. Another software tool called an RSS aggregator or reader is needed.

An aggregator works by scanning the worldwide web with latest postings based on the RSS code (containing the website’s URL) provided or added by the user. When it finds a new posting, news, or update, it will publish the RSS feed on your home page containing the title of the posting, which also serves as a clickable link to the website source. This RSS feed may or may not contain the whole article, a summary, and photos, depending on what RSS aggregator you are using.

Aggregators come in two types: the downloadable program or desktop-type and the online or web-based type. The desktop aggregator usually charges a certain amount for its services; this would include regular updating in the form of upgrades or patches to the original version. This type of RSS reader allows more customization of RSS feeds as well as page format or design over its on-line counterparts. But of course, price can be a drawback.

On-line or web-based aggregators are free of charge. All you need to do is register an account with them then you can start enjoying their services. Depending on the “brand” of the aggregator, customization is more limited. Some even do not allow you to customize at all.

Product and service advertisers are realizing the potential of RSS aggregators in internet marketing. In fact, several submit RSS codes to several popular web-based aggregators to reach the growing technophile and internet-based market. My Yahoo has been instrumental in popularizing RSS technology to both users and website owners and advertisers.

At present, there are many aggregators to choose from and newer versions of the same aggregator are constantly developed by its programmers.

RSS developers promise better features in future versions of their aggregators. Microsoft is planning to include a built-in aggregator in their next Windows version. These developments are definitely something to look forward to by all internet aficionados.
